More sophisticated but more comfortable is the eight implants solution: that is, a fixed bridge on implants in place of the mobile prosthesis as in the following case.

Photo A shows eight implants, protruding stump type, the most suitable for immediate load, applied seven years ago in the toothless dental arcade of a 60 years old patient.

Photo B: the method used was that of the early load: the permanent fixed bridge was applied 10 days after the surgery. Following the trend of the time, the material chosen was metal polycarbonate.

The x-ray examination carried out seven years later, almost against the Patient's will, who could not understand the reason, confirms the perfect osteointegration of the implants. In the upper arcade the Patient continues to carry a mobile prosthesis.
